This is my first time at the One Hatfield Hospital, all staff were welcoming and put me at ease pre and post operation.
Mr Ben Spiegelberg my surgeon was very reassuring and nothing was too much trouble for him. He was very caring and compassionate. I would thoroughly recommend the hospital and Ben. Thank you

A great experience in this hospital! I was an NHS patient - but who would have known??
Staff were really kind and professional, facilities amazing and food of restaurant quality. I was almost sorry to leave!!
Hard to think of any improvements that could be made!

Waiting times for treatments are long so if you need urgent treatment I would consider else where. Prior to my operation I was told the procedure will take 30-40 min max and then a short time for recovers. I arrived at 12midday as requested and told not to eat or drink 6hrs prior. I was taken to a nice room and then had to wait a further 4hrs 45minutes as only one theatre room was open and the morning operations had run over drastically. So what was supposed to be a 90 min procedure actually took 6hrs. My consultant was amazing however my after care was non existent. I woke in recovey, was rushed back to my room of which I was told to have something to eat, pass urine and then go home. I asked a nurse if it went ok and they looked startled and replied "um yes I haven't been told otherwise" I was then given an appointment card saying see you in 7 weeks.
For a private's hospital I was really disappointed.

I had a total hip replacement on 29th November 2021. Mr Yega Kalairajah was my surgeon. He was very informative, kind and helpful. The operation went very well, and I had no problems. My treatment at One Hatfield was superb, everyone attentive at all times. I especially liked the care given to me by my healthcare worker Tracy Cooper who tended to my every requirement and was always cheerful and patient, nothing too much trouble for her. I definitely recommend this hospital.

The staff were very personable, respectful and attentive and this extends o the kitchen staff too, as the food was lovely.
